Kid Power
REST API & educational portal development
Kid Power App
We built the backend for the Kid Power application from the ground up — a game where kids use activity trackers to earn energy, unlock milestones, and deliver therapeutic food packages (RUTFs) and doctor visits to countries in need.
We built the REST API, administration backend, content management, user management, map design, activity tracking, and executive reporting — plus marketing campaign websites. Implemented in Laravel.
Kid Power School
Following the app's success, UNICEF launched a web application connecting teachers and students across the USA — watching educational videos, earning points, and unlocking RUTF packets for malnourished children worldwide.
Built with Laravel and Vue.js as an SPA consuming a REST API. Teachers register, roster students, and run classroom activities that translate into real-world impact.
